Welcome!

You are cordiallyCucina Papoff invited to a new dining experience at Cucina Papoff, where all the specialties of Sicilian cuisine await you. Enjoy our special atmosphere and much more. We're conveniently located in the center of Palermo, at Via Isidoro La Lumia 32, near Via Libertà and Politeama Piazza (Piazza Ruggero Settimo), just a few steps away from the newly-restored Massimo Theatre opera house. It's easy to find us.

Hospitality is nothing new at Cucina Papoff ("Papoff's Kitchen"). The building that houses the restaurant was built as a hotel in the eighteenth century, and we've been serving fine Sicilian food for more than twenty years.

You're never a stranger at Cucina Papoff. Our restaurant is named for its foreign founder, but a New York Times article described Cucina Papoff best: "Despite the alien name, this friendly little restaurant serves the most traditional Sicilian dishes."

Different specialties are featured each day. A few are described on our Menu. We offer a fine selection of European and American wines, spirits and liqueurs, including a few local ones rarely found beyond Sicilian shores. In fact our selection of around 150 vintages is one of Palermo's largest. Cucina Papoff serves lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, and dinner on Saturday. We're closed Sundays. (We're closed during the entire month of August.) For reservations call 091-586460, from outside Italy +39 091586460, or email cucinapapoff@libero.it. (Though reservations are recommended, especially for Fridays and Saturdays, they are not required.)

More than an exceptional restaurant, Cucina Papoff is an uncommon dining experience. Make your trip to Palermo a trip to remember.
